It all started in 1954 when Al Pliler hired on at the local International truck and tractor dealership on Highway 80 in Longview, TX as a parts counterperson. Al worked his way up on the manufacturer side of the truck business and held various positions in Texas, Mississippi, Tennessee and Louisiana. After 29 years with the company Al decided he was ready to venture out and become an independent truck dealer representing the International brand. He invited his son Darrell to be a part of the venture and Pliler International Trucks was born in November 1983.
Today we serve the northeast Texas and northwest Louisiana truck markets with dealership locations in Longview, TX and Shreveport, LA. Today, the Pliler family collectively has over 86 years experience in the heavy truck business.
